Nikos Lemonas

President of the BoD

Ο Νίκος Λεμόνας φοίτησε στη Γερμανική Σχολή Θεσσαλονίκης. Σπούδασε στο Τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του Α.Π.Θ. και στη συνέχεια παρακολούθησε το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα σπουδών στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων (MBA) στο Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας. Από το 2000 μέχρι και σήμερα έχει εκτελέσει περισσότερα από 200 έργα κατασκευής και ανακαίνισης. Είναι συνιδιοκτήτης της τεχνικής εταιρείας GREENBOX και εξειδικεύεται στις ενεργειακές αναβαθμίσεις κτιρίων. Έχει συμμετάσχει στο Δ.Σ. του Συλλόγου Πολιτικών Μηχανικών Θεσσαλονίκης και σε ομάδες εργασίας του Τ.Ε.Ε. – Τ.Κ.Μ., ενώ έχει διατελέσει Γραμματέας της Ένωσης Μεταπτυχιακών Φοιτητών Θεσσαλονίκης και συνιδρυτής και αντιπρόεδρος του Συλλόγου Νέων Επιχειρηματιών και Επιστημόνων ΝΕΩΝ ΠΡΑΞΙΣ.

Alice Corovessi

Secretary of the BoD

Alice has studied Business Administration, Marketing and she began her professional career in the field of Tourism and Real Estate. Since 2009 she is actively involved in the promotion of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in the building sector, having a solid understanding of the aforementioned topics. She is among the founding members of the INZEB – Institute of Zero Energy Buildings.
Her primary focus is the development of communication, marketing and dissemination strategies for new and existing energy efficiency and sustainability projects. She is working closely with EU Institutions as part of her activities at INZEB, leading all actions related to planning, management, and dissemination of the mission and outcomes of Renovate Europe Campaign, of European Alliance to Save Energy and of the Coalition for Energy Savings in Greece.
In 2010 she became a member of the TEDx family by giving a presentation at the TEDx Academy event in Athens, on the subject of energy and the upcoming energy standards in Europe. She is a regular writer for high profile industry publications.

Grigoris Zarotiadis

Member of the BoD

Grigoris Zarotiadis was born on the 23rd of February 1972 in Thessaloniki. He studied economics in Johannes Kepler University of Linz – Austria. During his PhD he spent a year in UMIST (University of Manchester – Institute for Science and Technology). Currently, he is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is Vice President of the Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Region, as well as of the Institute for Social Research Dimitris Mpatsis. His research covers the fields of international economics, economic development and economic growth, having a plentiful record of international academic publications and relevant citations. At the same time he is keeping in touch with actual economy, being an Independent, Non – Executive Member of the Board of DROMEAS S.A., a Greek manufacturer of office furniture.

Eleftheria Touloupaki

Scientific Associate

Eleftheria Touloupaki is an Architect Engineer, holding also a M.Sc. in the subject of “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” (Dept. of Civil Engineering, A.U.Th.). She has completed her studies with several distinctions and awards from the State Scholarships Foundation and other institutions and is now a Ph.D., Candidate in the Dept. of Civil Engineering, A.U.Th. on the subject of “Computational Design of nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEBs) in southern European climates”. Since 2013, she has contributed as an associate Architect in various projects in Thessaloniki, focusing on energy renovations of residential buildings and she is also a certified energy auditor. She has been a scientific associate of the INZEB since 2014 and has given several lectures regarding energy efficiency of buildings in the series of workshops «Be Part of the Future», held in 2015 in 9 Greek cities. In the context of INZEB’s collaboration with BPIE, she has translated several studies on topics related to the energy efficiency of buildings, the implementation of European legislation (EPBD, EED), indoor air quality, thermal comfort, energy poverty etc. Her main professional and academic interests are energy renovations, bioclimatic building design and new technologies in Architectural synthesis.
